In Reason you access the back of the rack by pressing the <tab> key.

You patch audio signals and control voltages by clicking and dragging between jacks. When you add new devices Reason automatically routes in the way that makes the most sense, though you can bypass auto-routing by holding the <shift> key as you create new devices. It's all "live" so you can change patches as a sequence is playing and hear the changes immediately.
